Contracts - The Supreme Court of Canada Imposes a Duty of Honesty

The Supreme Court of Canada today released a decision expanding upon the general duty of good faith owed by contracting parties to each other. In its decision the court made it clear that parties also owe each other a more general duty of being honest during their dealings. The extent to which this effects contracting parties remains to be seen.
