Gary Dunn graduated from the University of Alberta Law School at the age of 23 in 1975 and has practised in British Columbia for over 25 years. Mr. Dunn has an undergraduate degree in Arts with a major in both political science and history, and a minor in sociology. He is also a registered Trade-Mark Agent.

He restricts his practice to e-commerce, software and databases, Information Technology, the Internet, telemedicine and related employment, technology and intellectual property law matters for start-ups and expanding businesses. He also does corporate finance and mergers and acquisition work for start-ups and companies seeking to expand their businesses.

Gary is a frequent speaker on matters relating to these areas for Continuing Legal Education and other organizations.

Clients can call on his broad range of experience. This includes several years as managing partner of a mid-sized firm, over ten years practising securities law and a busy practice of advising everyone from start-ups and growing businesses to large corporations on the unique issues they encounter.

Gary's experience, ability to listen, and practical approach enables him to provide multi-disciplined solutions to his client's problems. He facilitates his client's business goals in the face of the considerable legal and business ambiguity encountered in global information technology and e-commerce.

If the need arises, he is able through negotiations, mediation and referral to help his clients resolve their disputes and avoid costly litigation.
