For me, I see my most significant strength as being able to distil the significant aspects of the new and different relationships that clients are entering into and transform them into a workable contract that facilitates what they are trying to do. Additionally, identifying the legal issues that should be addressed can be challenging. This can be significantly affected by the metaphor that you apply to the particular problem. For example, does your client’s internet business use the Internet like a retail outlet, does it push information like a magazine or television channel, does it collect data, etc. Much of this I credit to the experience that I have had over the years, plus my predisposition to be interested in how business runs and what makes it successful.
